Tournament models tend to be deeper and heavier than the portable models. They feature red posts and crossbar, as well as white interiors. Some models include the base interior padding. These models take a bit longer to assemble, and are intended to be left that way.
Portable (PORT) models
Designed to easily and quickly partially dis-assembled to store just six inches high.
Our line of portable hockey nets use the same thick galvanized steel as the ‘Permanent’ hockey goals, but can be disassembled in minutes for carrying home by the kids, or loading into a family sedan. From a durability perspective, there’s no compromise when you purchase our portable models; only convenience.
The Portable models use the same 5mm UV resistant netting as the Permanent series, but attaches using welded rigid rod behind the crossbar and our exclusive ‘Quick Cable System’ on the sides. This reduces set-up time to 2 minutes or less. Base Skirting and attachment cords are included. We recommend the Portable style hockey net when the hockey goal will be transported –beyond walking distance-- after each game, or if your taking into the basement often to stealthly work on that shot.
